Steps Together 2014 Tree
It all started with a simple Facebook post....
We are excited to share that Dora Szep worked with Hillsborough Parks and Recreation to coordinate the adoption of a tree this holiday season by our organization. This is an incredible way to spread awareness about Steps Together and the families we help! We can begin decorating the tree as early as November 26th. It just has to be ready for the township's Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 5th. So creative minds - let's hear your ideas as our minds are spinning!
We couldn't believe there was so much interest to share our message and turn this into a fundraiser! So here we go....
Ornaments are $10 each. We don't know what they look like yet as our Elves are still designing! They can be purchased in honor of a specific family we are helping or all our Steps Together families. When purchasing the ornament, please consider leaving a message of hope or support that we can share with our families on December 5th. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be allocated in full on Monday, December 8th to assist the families this holiday season.

If you are a sponsor and wish to make an ornament to promote your involvement with our organization, please do so! If you are a crafty and wish to make something for our tree, please do so. Just remember this tree is outside. Ornaments should be dropped off at 51 Woods Road before December 3rd.
We are moving ahead with the shoelace garland (thank you Kate Truncale), linking some beneficiary bracelets (thank you Linda Mix Patrick) and hope to have awareness ribbons of some sort with beneficiary names (thank you Melissa Jean).
Our tree might not land on the cover of a magazine and it may fall over with all the love but we are Steps Together!
Please also consider an ornament for your own tree and continue to support Lauren Couto's ornament fundraiser! Click here for details.
Wish to donate more this holiday season, click here.
A tentative ornament making party (pizza and wine) is scheduled for Monday, December 1st with decoration of the tree on Thursday, December 4th. Details to come.
We just heard that Bella Pizza is donating the pies for our ornament making party!
